| Zusammenfassung: | Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird den Ursachen für Akzeptanzprobleme in Großschutzgebieten nachgegangen. Besonders die Theorie der psychologischen Reaktanz und die Social Identity Theory erweisen sich als erklärungsstarke Rahmenkonzeptionen. Als Folgerungen für Akzeptanzschaffungsprozesse wird u. a. empfohlen, Bedürfnisse und Werte der Bürger und Bürgerinnen in den Großschutzgebieten mit Hilfe von Zielgruppenanalysen zu erschließen, auf eine verstärkte Einbindung der Betroffenen zu achten, die Möglichkeit, Kommunikationsberater in Großschutzgebieten einzusetzen, abzuwägen, Gemeinsamkeiten und (informelle) soziale Kontakte zwischen Betroffenen und Naturschützern zu schaffen und generell soziale sowie sozialwissenschaftliche Aspekte verstärkt in das Naturschutzgeschehen zu integrieren. |

| Abstract: | Acceptance problems of protected areas - some socialpsychological explanations and consequences The present paper discusses the reasons of acceptance problems in protected areas. Especially the theory of psychological reactance and the social identity theory explains the problem in an appropriate way. To create acceptance we recommend the following measures: to explore needs and values of the citizens in the protected areas, e.g. with the instrument of target group analysis, to care for a better involvement of the affected people, to think about the possibility to establish communication consultants in protected areas, to create common interests and (informal) social contacts between the parties and in general to integrate social and social science related aspects in the field of nature conservation. |
